Shield Academy's services are intended for legitimate educational purposes in the field of cybersecurity. Users must maintain professional conduct when interacting with our staff, instructors, and fellow students.

Course materials and training content are provided for educational advancement and may not be redistributed, sold, or used for commercial purposes without explicit written permission from Shield Academy.

Permitted: Accessing course materials for personal learning, participating in educational discussions, using knowledge gained for ethical cybersecurity practices, and networking with fellow professionals.

Prohibited: Sharing login credentials, distributing copyrighted materials, using techniques learned for illegal activities, disrupting educational sessions, or harassing other participants.

Access to Shield Academy services requires meeting prerequisite knowledge levels for advanced courses, maintaining payment obligations for enrolled programs, and demonstrating commitment to ethical cybersecurity practices. Technical requirements include reliable internet connectivity and appropriate hardware for hands-on training components.

Students are expected to use shared resources responsibly, participate constructively in group activities, respect instructor time during office hours, and provide honest feedback for continuous improvement of our programs.

Course enrollment requires providing accurate personal information including name, contact details, and relevant professional background. False information may result in enrollment denial or account termination. Students must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent for participation.

Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of account credentials, immediately reporting suspected unauthorized access, using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication when available, and ensuring their account is accessed only by the registered individual.

Shield Academy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, non-payment of course fees, inappropriate behavior toward staff or students, or misuse of educational materials. Students will receive notice of termination reasons except in cases of severe misconduct.

Each individual should maintain only one primary account unless multiple enrollments are explicitly approved. Organizations enrolling multiple employees should coordinate through a designated administrator to avoid confusion and ensure proper billing management.

Shield Academy strives to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access due to technical maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. Course sessions may be rescheduled due to instructor availability or technical issues.

Course features and content may be updated to reflect current cybersecurity practices and industry developments. New tools and resources may be added to enhance learning experiences. Some legacy content may be archived or updated as technology evolves.

Our services are primarily designed for students in Finland and the European Union. Some course content may reference local regulations and practices. International students are welcome but should verify that course content aligns with their regional cybersecurity landscape.

Shield Academy may modify course curricula, update training materials, introduce new learning platforms, or discontinue outdated programs. Enrolled students will be notified of significant changes and provided with transition support when necessary.

All course materials, including videos, documents, lab environments, and assessment tools, remain the intellectual property of Shield Academy. Students receive a limited license to access and use materials solely for educational purposes during their enrollment period.

Students retain ownership of original work created during courses, such as projects and assignments. By submitting content through our platforms, students grant Shield Academy a limited license to use such content for educational feedback, assessment, and course improvement purposes.

The educational license granted to students is non-transferable, non-exclusive, and terminates upon course completion or account termination. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit course materials without express written permission.

Shield Academy respects intellectual property rights and expects students to do the same. Unauthorized use of copyrighted materials, including software tools used in training, may result in account termination and potential legal action.
